Members of the HPD Victim Services Unit attended the City of
Houston Proclamation Ceremony at City Hall recently with other Victim Advocate
agencies in the Houston area. Houston Mayor Annise Parker proclaimed the week
of April 6-12, 2014 as National Crime Victims’ Rights Week.
The mission of the HPD Victim Services Unit is to enhance
the quality of life for the citizens of Houston by assisting victims and the
families of the victims experiencing crime and trauma.
