National Crime Victims’ Rights Week is April
6 – April 12, 2014. This week honors the extraordinary progress on behalf of
millions of victims since the passage of the Victims of Crime Act in 1984.
The Houston Police Department Victim Services
Unit (VSU) is dedicated to positively impacting the quality of life for the
citizens of Houston and exists to provide assistance to crime victims and their
families. The VSU works closely with Law Enforcement and social service
and legal agencies within the City of Houston and Harris County.
