HPD Senior Police Officer James Sobota, coordinator of the City
Wide Positive Interaction Program (PIP), appears on a community educational
crime prevention talk show every month on Texas Chinese Radio channel 1050 AM
with Pamela Hu.
For the last seven years, this talk show has provided a very
positive trusting relationship within the Chinese community and provides crime
prevention information tips to residents and business owners. In
addition, Officer Sobota has represented the Houston Police Department at
several Chinese community social events where many can interact and ask
questions to make the community a safer place to live and work.
